HERE FORREGENERATIVE FARMING

Begawan began its regenerative farming initiative on half a hectare in Bayad Village in 2022. Today several farmers have joined our program, and are cultivating Mansur Heritage Rice using 100% chemical-free practices. Begawan Biji farm supplies farmers with training, materials, and facilities, and guarantees a stable income for farmers by buying each harvest at premium prices.

Building Begawan Biji farm in Bayad, Bali

The farm at Begawan Biji farm has expanded organically, and a number of local farmers have chosen to join the program and return to natural rice cultivation. Begawan implements a range of regenerative solutions that together are restoring the ecosystem in Bayad Village.
